  Dr. Truocchio graduated from New York University Dental School in 1979. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended Saint Francis College and St. Anthony's High School. Upon graduating Dental School, he completed a Residency Program at St.Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. There he learned the skills necessary to practice dentistry on handicapped children and adults. He started a family practice in Greenlawn while working as a dentist at Suffolk Developmental Center in Melville. In 1989, Dr Truocchio was asked to become the Dental Director at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center and Sagamore Children's Center. He also coordinates dental services at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center and Queens Children's Center. Since then he has moved his practice to his hometown of Deer Park. He enjoys working on friends from school and scouting. Dr Truocchio became an Eagle Scout in 1972. He has been practicing dentistry now for over 29 years. Dr. Truocchio keeps up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He volunteers yearly at the local schools describing the different opportunities in the dental field to students during Career Day. He enjoys fishing and gardening.
